Andy Kifer
Andy Kifer is an ex-NYC literary agent who works as an independent book editor and writer.
He has written for the New York Times, Smithsonian Magazine, Publishers Weekly, and LitHub, and has co-written a book with a MacArthur “Genius” for Random House.
He has worked as an international literary scout, a literary agent, as a commissioning editor of original content for Audible, served as a juror for literary fellowships, given lectures to college classes on the intersection of craft and commerce, and has been on faculty at writers conferences across the country.
As an editor he draws on over a decade of experience in trade publishing, where has worked with award-winning and New York Times-bestselling writers to take their work to the next level.
A lifelong runner, in his spare time he coaches cross country and track and field at a small college in the Hudson Valley.
